Sigh..a long 2 hr break..next class is from 6pm-9pm. Im in the computer lab in Caulfied right now with 2 of my Unimates who keep me sane most of the time. Kine a Norwegian girl and Michael an Aussie bloke. They are in 2 of my classes and i see them all 3 days of my long Uni week. I met them both in my second year at Caulfield but have managed to hang out a lot more with them this sem due to our same classes. Heh heh they are both working hard doing research for an assignment that they have while im am slacking off..whats new?
Last nite had dinner at No.4 although i bought my own food..didnt want to constantly scum from them...feel bad always eating their food heh heh. Watched the Unforgettables in Aust Idol..man arent they embarressed? One of them is actually gonna perform at the opera house..i assume at the Aussie Idol Finale...but they have no shame...haha. I think its gonna be Flynn this Hong Kong Aussie guy whom reminds everyone of the 'Great' Willy Hung. The way they promote him and announce his arrival seems to be setting up the voting in his favour..anyways i dont care.
Tmrw Janelle has invited Renz, Alv, Josh, Paul,Victoria n me to her place for Mee Rebus..sounds good..ive been eating out so often since i got the car..thats bad man...i havent cooked since i gottit(cept instant noodles once) and its been a mth now. Tsk Tsk..getting lazy.Actually am lazy.
Worked on my webpage last nite using Frontshop...im pretty proud of it :)..then again Kine's and Michaels look brilliant as well. So here's hoping that we all score and do well for the subject. The lecturer is so boooring! Today he used a proverb...like a nigger in a woodpile!??! Wat on earth does that mean? He then said he prob shldnt be using that proverb anymore ahahah. He seems like a nice enough old fogey..but he's dead boring.
Well going to meet Liz now for a late lunch/early dinner b4 my class..
Over and Out Yep yesterday was Sept 11th and it was a friend, Sylvia's birthday. I knew her wen the actual disaster happened..we had celebrated her bday during the day and the tragedy happened that nite. Anyways 3 years down the track we are still good friends and i hope to maintain that friendship i have with her. She happens to be the one close indonesian friend i have here and hopefully in the future i'll be able to go there and vist her(maybe get free accomdation) heh heh j/k.
Came home after that spent a while doing nothing and then went out grocery shopping with Janelle. She bought loads of ingredients to make mee rebus and mee siam..lucky she invited me over for dinner this week otherwise i would have left her there. ;) Then went to Glen and had dinner..she perked up after that..i think she was hungry coz was in a bad mood and not talkin much b4 that haha. Did a bit of walking ard the glen, bought some hello kitty mooncakes and had a drink.
We then went over to her place and tried to connect her laptop to the t.v to watch Mean Girls...tried in vain, could see the laptop screen on the computer but wen we tried to watch the movie it didnt appear..so weird. Well we ended up watching it on her monitor..which has a brightness problem. Show was pretty allrite lah..but more of a chickflick i guess.
Janelle has improved so much over these past few weeks of problems she has had and its really a pleasure hangin out with her. Just wanna say proud of how u've gotten over ur situation and keep at it girl! And im not an Akuma(Devil) friend im actually very nice ;)
Talked to Dian over an internet fone today..its damn cool go to www.skype.com and u can download a free program to call pple who are on it(Must thank Janelle for telling me abt it). Add me if u do download it..kons45 is my username. Anyways we talked abt life in general..she told me wats going on back in Loyang(my neighbourhood friends) and we just talked for close to an hr..the reception and clarity is really good. It was good to talk to her again and Im looking forward to catching up with her wen i get back.
Hung out today with Alvina and Renee at their place. Im so glad i met these to girls. They are brilliant friends man and we are definelty gonna meet up in SIngapore wen we have the chances to man..altho Renz has another year here :(.
They have kept me company through so many things and are have given me some great company over this period of time i have know them. Its been only 6-7 mths and I feel like i have known them 4ever. I know u both are going through some tough times with assignments and all but u'll get through it.
I would also like to thank all my other friends how have helped me through stuff and been there wen i needed them.
As i sed in a contemplaty mood..will update with a more jovial entry soon..

What is life? Im in a contemplaty mood. Things have happend to me recently to make me wonder what is really important in life. There are so many things that happen to us that we make such a big fuss abt. When we put these things into perspective you really wonder why some people can be sulky so often. Compare failing an exam with someone dear to u losing their life. Rushing to Uni or work and then getting into an accident...is it worth it?
It is only human nature tho that small things worry us. I remember once that in Secondary school we had a speaker that sed a certain amt of stress is healthy. Of course overstressing will lead to all sorts of crap but we all need a certain amt. Stressing over a broken fingernail is just wrong.
Wouldnt pple be happier if they realised that its no pt worrying half the time..easier sed that done but lemme quote this from Renee's blog which she quoted from a book she has. :
it's never too late to..
STOP WORRYING
Separate the worry from the problem
figure out what you CAN do..

 Hey its wednesday already..for me thats a big deal coz its the end of my Uni week. Yep! I have thurs and fri's off. Sounds good huh? Well it makes u the laziest person ever!! Actually it makes me the laziest person..im just the wrong person to have 2 off days.
Lets see..wats new..i've actually started an assignment 2 weeks b4 its due date...*shock horror*,,,well dont get ur panties in a bunch...its a webpage i have to design so for a subject called Managing Informatiion Systems. They didnt want a personal webpage *grumble* coz the tutor is sick of them. So suay coz this is the first sem that we cant do a personal webpage..it has to be on an organization or something. So i picked my beloved Liverpool F.C....wat..they are an organization ok!
Im quite proud of my progress so far..and its looking fairly decent...i've got gif files from all over the internet...attached is 1..which i havent used on my webpage coz its not Liverpool..but wat a goal! Hope it works on Multiply.
Well have to rush off to Uni soon..Lecture from 2-4 and the 6-9! Arrgh...well its a good thing i have the car..which by the way is running fine and has changed my life..have i mentioned that b4?

P.S Janelle hijacked my page and did this. So much for writing everyday huh..its been a while. I've shaved! Its been 9mths since ive been clean shaven..looks kinda weird. Renee sez i look 4 years younger. Well that would make me 21..yes im old. Was just mentioning to Renee and Janelle that i cant play soccer without aching the next day...sigh.
Anyways lets see wats been interesting in my life. Played soccer Friday night. We won 8-2 was a good match i must say..! Then we had Zul's 21st Bday party..or was it 20th? Anyways that was good..the girls did most of the BBQing and the food was really nice! Yes we let them do the BBQing this time but we do it most of the time..we are gentleman.
Saturday was our clubs sports day. The Malaysia Club challanged the Singapore club to a soccer match. Most of the members in the club dont play soccer so i called some of my friends. We ended up thrashing them 10-2! It was really good haha.
Sunday now had a Fathers day lunch with my cousins and Uncles and Aunts at Springvale. Met Janelle after that and picked her up from Clayton coz the bus was gonna be really long. At her place now she is cooking Dinner...Yong Tau Foo...will write whether its good
Janelle calls me her Devil friend...i really dunno y..she says im a bad influence asking her to skip Uni and all. But the 2 days she skipped last week were her decision and on the day i told her to skip she went but there was no class..see im such a good friend. I think she is the Devil friend...always so mean to me.
Hmm..i think reading my Journal is rather boring..that's y no one ever looks at it. oh well...will keep on writing..byuebye
Janelle just insulted me again.....so mean  Gosh..its september. Time has been flying. Well a quick update on my life, lets see...the Macro test was pretty awful..we'll not go there. Came home after and took a nap from 3-7pm...can't call that a nap can i? Anyways woke up went to Burwood Kmart for some grocery and essentials shopping with Janelle and then went for dinner to Rock Kung. Man the Keropok they gave us was stale!! The food was allrite but their standard mite be dropping..a lot of new staff..wonder if they changed the cook.
Well got back and did my assignment from 12am-7am..slept for 2 hrs woke up and completed it. Shld turn out allrite..the standard of competition in my class seems very good as more than half are Ang Moh...so hopefully they dont compare and mark me down.
That was my Monday.
Tuesday...well showered and all after the assignment..drove to Uni to hand it in and attend my class. Told the tutor that i had to leave early as the club im in SAM-Singapore Association Monash was gonna have a general meeting and reelection.
Aight lemme clarify for those who dunno wat the SAM club is. Its a club that i joined up coz friends were in the community and i decided to help them. The people in the club turned out to be a really fun bunch and i have throughly enjoyed myself. Will go into more deopth some other time. So i reached clayton at bout 4p.m. A fair number of people were there. Well to cut a long story short the old commitee stepped down and the new one stepped up, We knew everyone who stepped up as they were General Commitee(Like me)
Anyways just like to tell Janelle(President) Danny(Vice President) Renee(Secretary) Josh(Treasurer) Paul(Activities) Alvina(Editorial) Sharon(Marketing) and Charmaine(PR). U guys did a fantastic job and thanx for making it enjoyable for us. All the best in watever future endavours u endavour in...hmm that sounds wrong..oh well
To the new comitee Jiarong, Keith, forgot her name, Sam, Kareen, Kelvin, Rachel, Wendy. All the best u guys and i know u'll maintain the stadard. Those names are in the same order as the names above for the posts. Sorry i forgot the secretaries name.

Over and Out!  Was a pretty long day yesterday. Woke up at 7.15 to drive my bro to the city for a meeting he had. Was damn sleepy as we had slept at 3+am the nite b4. Anyways was in the middle of the city wen the car stalled on a slope. I tried restarting it but it didnt go. Man was i worried, well we called the RACV, i had to join up as a member and it cost me $173. They came abt 20mins later and jump started my car. I then had to replace the battery as it was an old one. My bro had to go off to the meeting so i waited for the mobile battery replacement truck which took 1hr15mins to come..shld have slept in the car :(.
Janelle was going to be in the city coz she had to interview some PR/Marketing guy from SBS radio so we decided to meet for lunch.
It was my first time in the city so i was a bit apprehensive but it all went well. We went to BoBa pearl in Lygon street and I had Bak Chor mee. It was allrite but nothing compared to the bedok one..can't wait for that..droool. Janelle had a Wanton soup and we shared a carrot cake..which was pretty good i must say. We then went and had Gelati. I had the Ferrero Roche one and it was damn good! Janz had Durian and Ferrero Roche...wat a weird combo. While eating her ice cream she was subconciously saying mmm after every lick. It was damn funny man hahah. We then proceeded back to clayton but we took a route with loads of slopes and traffic lights so i had to practice my clutch control..oh well its improved now.
Came home and then went to Boxhill for my weekly indoor soccer. We played allrite and won 6-2 so was preety happy after that. Came home and went to a friends place, Josh, for a small party and food. Was pretty much exhausted so fell asleep while watching Olympics.
Today was woken up by Renee calling and saying that she n Alvina wanted to go to Springvale to get a pork roll. Pork rolls are absolutely delicious man! And between Ivan, Alvina me and Renz we ordered 7! Altho we ate one each and the others are keeping the rest for some other time. We also found this shop which sells Yong Tau Foo where u can pick and mix wat u want. We also bought this weird ice cream that is a choco icecream in a glutinous ball...nice. Came home and watched the olympics while eating.
Well i should get to studying for monday's test..my body is aching all over tho..bad excuse!

Didnt mind the moving but im tired and sleepy now and im supposed to drive down to Bundoora to meet my Bro.
Don't mind the 45min drive but im an absolute dimwit with directions! I'll have to look it up in the Melways..and even so...sigh...i may get lost :(
WIll prob stay there overnight and come back tmrw. I have a test on Monday and an assignment due in on tuesday..i gotta buckle down and get working..not like i ever do..sigh
Getting into week 7 of Uni soon...disorganised as usual...how have i managed so far? At least my room is in a fairly decent state..gotta keep it clean.
Not much more to write i guess...will put some pictures up soon. Well stay tuned for more of..me..hmm who would want that? Well im outta here.
Later  Bah, internet was down last nite. It was the service provider coz my neighbours No.4(Danny, Renee, Alvina, Graham) use the same provider and theirs was down as well.
Presentation went allrite in class..actually i think it went rather well. Had the class laughing most of the time(by making a fool of myself) also managed to wiggle out of a mistake i made heh heh.
Went for my final SAM club meeting after that..then went for dinner with Renee,Danny,Janelle and Renald. Its the first time that i've driven with 5 pple in my car. It feels pretty different but I managed fine.
Got home at bout 10p.m talked to my housemates Andrew, Ivan and my neighbour Graham for a bit(they were in Andrews room).
I guess i'll put a picture up of a few of those pple i mentioned.
Well gotta get ready for Uni soon class from 2-4pm then 6-9pm :(

Andrew and Ivan are housemates and the other 4 are neighbours 30secs walking distance away :)  Realised that the entries dont have dates or times. Maybe they do but i havent noticed them..hmm. Supposed to be preparing slides for my presentation tmrw but procrastinating as usual and talking on MSN. The internet is so useful for research but even more useful for procrastination.
I once told Renee that blogs give people a false sense of closeness..I dunno if thats true or not..i certainly have learnt things i would never have known by reading friends blogs.
This feels weird do i start mentioning friends names without introducing them. Will other people know who they are? Same song on repeat..she'll be loved by Maroon 5. Its not the best song ive heard but there's something catchy bout the tune.
Woke up at bout 9 and went for my 10 O'Clock lecture..managed to stay awake..YAY! The hints for the test werent as detailed as i had hoped they would be...im preety worried bout this test...Dun wanna fail..must graduate. Met Sylvia for lunch had a good chat with her. Liz msged me after i finished classes and sed she was heading down to clayton so i offered her a lift back to clayton chatted abt nothing in particular in the car.
Came back home and watched last weekend's Liverpool match on my comp..so glad i found a way to download whole matches! Good game Liverpool won 2-1. Went to the Clayton Library after to get my reading done for the presentation. I need to critique an article on Ethics and Social Responsibiltiy...is that ethical(Corny!)? Got that done came home and Renz(Renee) asked me to take a look at her virus plagued laptop..I managed to fix it and get her back on the internet after she's not had it properly working for a mth now. Preety proud abt that :) heh heh. Self praise is no praise..damn. Talking to Janelle on MSN now. Stay strong Janz u r an exceptionally strong person and i know u'll get through wat u r going through now.

Well I'm still pretty excited by the fact that i've got a car. Its so convenient man, no obligations to anyone when i go out. Can go out whenever i please..arrrgh y didnt i get it sooner. Guess i'll just make the best out of it.
Currently playing She will be loved by Maroon 5..its on repeat man quite a nice song.Not too bad typing out what i feel. Maybe i'll set aside sometime to type everyday. Rereading what ive written is weird..no sequence in my ramblings. Oh well goodnite world..i've gotta sleep now..need to get my tips from the morn lecture for the test next week. |
